Yes! The better you prep your walls the better the finished result. We know it's exciting and you'll want to transform your space as soon as you receive your Stickr products, but with a little elbow grease, and a lot of patience you will see that it's all worth it in the end! Clean the walls with warm water alone, or add a little sugar soap, fill any holes and fix any damage. The wall must be smooth and clean for application.

We recommend applying Stickr products onto a GIB surface that has had a primer applied and had at least two top coats of paint applied. If the wall is freshly painted, we recommend waiting at least 4 weeks for all paints to completely outgas before applying your Stickr product.

If your wall has not had a primer applied, this may result in the paint peeling off when removing your Stickr product.

Stickr Tip - As soon as you have purchased your new Stickr products, start prepping! That way you should be ready to go when they land on your doorstep!

Starting at the top of each wall decal panel, start to pull slowly and carefully at a 180-degree angle – working your way down to the bottom. We recommend taking your time, and removing your decal wallpaper as slowly and steadily as possible.

Because every home’s walls are different, we can’t guarantee damage-free removal in all cases. For example, sometimes paint can peel away from filler joins. The better the walls have been prepared and painted, the less likely damage will occur on the decal wallpaper’s removal. If you have any concerns, we recommend ordering an A4 sample to test first.

Stickr products should not be applied to walls that have a texture (Raw GIB, concrete, raw timber, or brick) existing wallpaper, or in rooms that experience a high amount of humidity.

If applying to freshly painted walls we recommend waiting at least 4 weeks for the paint to cure.

Paints that have a Teflon base will act as a repellent to the adhesive, we do not recommend using Stickr products if you have this paint type.
